Three Starting Options for the Panchase Trek

  1. From Phewa Lake near Halanchowk via Kalabang: Begin your trek at Phewa Lake near Halanchowk, heading through Kalabang and spending the first night in Bhumdi. On the second day, a 5-hour walk will bring you to Panchase Bhanjyang, where you’ll find about half a dozen hotels. From Bhanjyang, it’s a 1.5-hour hike to Panchase Hill, which has only one hotel at the top. After enjoying the sunrise and a hot breakfast on the third day, descend to Chitre village in Parbat via Pancsila Lake.
  2. From Peace Stupa via Pumdi Bhumdi: Another option is to start your hike from Peace Stupa and trek to Panchase through Pumdi Bhumdi.
  3. From Kande via Bhadaure: The third alternative is to take a local bus or taxi to Kande, then to Bhadaure, and from there, begin your trek to Panchase.
