This trek is relatively easy and showcases untouched natural beauty.
The trek’s highest point is at the summit of Kori Hill, standing at 3800 meters. Khumai Danda Trek: New Trekking Destination
The trail to Hugu is also a pilgrimage route to the sacred Dudh Pokhari Lake, continuing to Namun Bhanjyang or Namun La Pass and connecting with the Annapurna Circuit at Timang. For those seeking a challenge, the trek to Namun Bhanjyang is one of the toughest in the Annapurna area and can be combined with the Annapurna Circuit Trek.
As a new route, the Kori trek lacks conventional lodging like guest houses and hotels, requiring trekkers to camp at sites like Hugu, Nho Ta, and Kori Hill. Food options are limited, but we provide porters who carry and cook food.
The best time to embark on the Kori Trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These periods offer the most favourable weather conditions, with clear skies and moderate temperatures. The rhododendrons are in bloom during spring, adding to the trek’s beauty.
