The 18-Day Everest Three Passes Trek is the ultimate alpine circuit in the Khumbu Himalaya. Traversing the entire Everest high-altitude amphitheater in a counter-clockwise loop, this demanding expedition crosses three glaciated saddles over 5,300 meters: Kongma La (5,535 m), Cho La (5,420 m), and Renjo La (5,360 m). Beyond visiting Everest Base Camp (5,364 m), you will summit three legendary panoramic peaks—Chhukung Ri, Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Ri—taking in direct vistas of four 8,000-meter giants: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu across the turquoise chain of the sacred Gokyo Lakes.

Requires Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entry Permit and Sagarmatha National Park Permit. Maximum elevation reaches 5,546 m at Chhukung Ri (5,535 m at Kongma La Pass). This route spends 8+ consecutive days above 4,700 meters. Microspikes/crampons are required for traversing the glaciated ice sheet across Cho La Pass.
